I can’t rave about this hotel enough. From the moment we walked in we were greeted with the most warmest welcome by Barry, he was cheerful, efficient and couldn’t do enough for us, they took our bags to store as we were early so our room wasn’t ready. Our room was really lovely, everything you want for a great stay, comfy bed, tea coffee facilities, even an expresso coffee machine with pods /Biscuits. Lovely spacious room with fab shower room and everything you could need, shower gel/shampoo/body lotion snd great magnifying mirror always a bonus with failing sight. Not a huge amount of storage but we managed with the hanging space. Hairdryer, safe, ironing board and iron. See front hotel, all staff were extremely friendly and cheerful snd couldn’t do enough to make out stay pleasant. I have a lot of food sensitivities, I requested some oat milk but there was none, the next thing I know Barry called up to our room and informed me he’d made a special trip to the shop to buy me two carton. The breakfast room had a great selection of continental breakfast and traditional English breakfast. There is a very pleasure bar where you can order and evening meal, there was a massive choice but I have to say the meals were cooked to protection. Four of the best meals I’ve ever had in my life. The chef was outstanding. And again very accommodating with my food sensitivities. James attended the bar and again was very attentive and was very keen to please. Lovely pleasant, chatty chap. My only negative was that the carpets in the bar and breakfast room are in need of renewing, they’ve obviously had a lot of partying on them and could do with a professional clean or replacing. Overall we had a very pleasurable stay and will definitely returning at some point. Loved it!!!

Very welcoming lobby, very comfortable but stylish. The room had a great view of the sea and beach. It was comfortably furnished. Comfortable bed and a really good shower. To say I disliked anything would be accurate. The bar needed attention. It was not shabby but it was laid out like a church hall dance, with chairs lining each of the long sides of the room. The alcohol on offer was limited. No Woodford Reserve!! I would have spent more time in it if it had the same ambience as the lobby. Nowhere here to say anything about the staff but it has to be said they are the stars of the hotel. Warm, welcoming and helpfull, every one of them. Special thanks to Barry on this score. A real diamond.

We stayed in this hotel over the bank holiday weekend and despite the hotel looking very tired, the staff compensated with their personal and professional manner, they really made you feel welcome. We stayed in room 150 and I can’t see the likeness in the hotel room images on the website, which was slightly disappointing. overall good but this hotel is due a revamp.

Such a nice hotel with a wonderful view! The team was super helpful and service minded. The breakfast was good with a selection of english breakfast classics! Our room was lovely, spacious and well cleaned every day. We will definitely come back again next time we visit brighton.

This is the first time we have stayed at this hotel. We booked as part of a special offer as we were going to a concert and decided to stay over. The hotel is on the seafront and just a short walk from the lanes and bars/restaurants. We were checked in really quickly, they were really friendly and helpful and we were given a free cocktail voucher which was a nice touch. We checked in early and the room was ready and we were allowed in the room. The room was really nice, we had a privilege room and it overlooked the mews. The hotel is small, nice and the rooms were a nice size and well set out. There is a little bar off reception and they have a small restaurant. The staff were really, really friendly and helpful and couldn’t do enough for you. They have a small car park at the back which we managed to get in and if you pay at reception it allows you to park there until 5pm on the day of departure. The breakfast, which was included in the price was amazing. It was a buffet style but was all fresh and hot and a great selection. We will definitely be booking here again as we really enjoyed our stay.
